I’m back as promised to bring you the cute little Fiesta Scattergories we used for the my sister-in-laws baby shower a couple weeks back as a free printable! I love printable party games- they’re so easy to pull together and are great ice breakers for a crowd that’s not too well acquainted. This one is a simplified version of the normal Scattergories game and is so much fun to see the creative answers everyone pulls out. My favourite of the night was definitely a tie between bootylicious and bodacious to describe the new mama.
So basically the way baby Scattergories works is everyone gets a card and you set the timer for four minutes (one for each column if you’d rather). Everyone scrambles to write down as many items as they can think of that match the category to the left of the line, starting with the letter at the top of the column. Seems pretty basic but when there’s a timer running you will totally blank. It’s pretty funny to listen to the panic as the timer gets close to running out.
If you’d like to make them your own- feel free to copy away and just link back… The fonts I used for this printable were Mexican Fiesta and Znikomit – both are free downloads. Those adorable little flowers are from We Lived Happily Ever After– you can get them for free along with some other fun floral overlays… so run over there, wont you?
To get them as is, just click here to download the PDF version for easy printing at your copy shop. There’s two to a page, and they are best printed on standard sized cardstock. I generally print on index since it’s more affordable, but if you want a bright white background, the cardstock is your best option.
Enjoy! I’d love to see photos if you use them! Do you have a favourite party game? Scattergories is top three for me- along with Catch Phrase and Cranium.

Scattergories and Pictionary are my two favourite boardgames. Many times during Scattergories have we had to bust out Mr. Google to confirm whether or not something is a real thing, haha.
I love the idea of Baby Scattergories! I “pinned” this one to one of my Pinterest boards to remember it for the future, if any of my friends decide to have a baby ;)

I love pictionary too! That’s one of the ones I don’t have in my games cupboard so it’s always a treat when someone brings it out.

I love this idea! Pinning this for later!
