It’s time for another Fresh Cut SVG Bundle! This month is all about holiday cards and tags and the designs are SO good, you guys! We revamped the bundle a bit too so there’s even more designs for you PLUS some bonuses. As always… I contributed some handlettered files to the bundle because that’s what I love! I made these three knock out designs that are perfect for adding to cards or making into art (I made the snowman into art as well!).
I made mine with this sparkle paper and love how they turned out but realized I totally SHOULD have done them in black iron-on on to wood. How much cooler would that have been!? *sigh* next time. Plus, with iron-on, I wouldn’t have had to piece them back together. There’s only a few pieces for each of them so it wasn’t that it was hard it’s just that I’ve realized I’m NOT a paper crafter at all! I just don’t enjoy it like I do other DIY. It’s funny what you learn about yourself when you are creating.
To make these cards (and art!) was really really simple thanks to the SVG files. Just upload the designs you want to cut to your design software (if you’re using Cricut like me, that’s Design Space) and insert it onto your canvas. You’ll notice that SVG files in comparison to PNG separate into all the little pieces. This is great if you’d like to add different colours but if you’re like me and just want it all together out of all the same colour… just select it all and click ‘weld’. Done and done!
If you are cutting out of a cardstock like this (I used this Sparkle Paper from Cricut, it’s so nice and thick)- you’ll need to glue the pieces onto backing. I love my fine tip glue pen for things like this- I just don’t have the patience for using a glue stick or something like that. And if you are making your own cards- I would TOTALLY get a paper cutter that has a fold option. It creases the paper perfectly for a nice clean fold. It makes cards look way more pro if you ask me! I have this one here and it works like a charm.
I really loved the way the ‘Let it Snow’ one came out on the card so decided to upsize it and make some simple art. It was really simple to pull together- honestly using premade SVGs and a cutting machine is addicting, it’s so easy to cut things over and over and make things quickly. I don’t think I would have made gift tags ever before… or holiday cards. But it’s amazing the things you’ll do when a machine does all the work ;)

I was trying to purchase the fresh cut Christmas bundle as your post indicates it is available thru today 12/24, but cannot locate it. Am I too late?

Hello! This is from a couple years ago- I’m working on moving all my SVG contributions from the bundle over to my own store this year though :)
