Valentine’s day is just around the corner. What!? I. KNOW. It was just Christmas, but let’s move past it and chat about valentines cards, why don’t we? I’m a sucker for snail mail. I seriously love the stuff. So any occasion is a good enough occasion for me to send some mail to my besties. This past year I really dropped the ball on my snail mail friends. And even normal friends… like NO birthday cards even. And from someone that sends Saint Patrick’s Day cards… that’s pretty lame. I’m blaming it on the pregnancy and renovation. Even worse… I MADE valentines but didn’t ever get them in the mail. BUT this year? I’m going to get back to it. Starting with Valentine’s Day.
These Valentine’s Day post cards are the perfect way to get cards in the mail in a hurry, and look cute to boot. I hand lettered this ‘To One Sweet Friend on Valentine’s Day’ for you all and a coordinating ‘Wish You Were Here for Snuggles this Valentine’s Day’ one over at Dawn Nicole Designs. They’re both free for you to snag! They are standard post card size, so you can pop them in the mail with just a stamp and skip the envelope, but I’ve kept the back blank incase you’d rather send them in an envelope like a notecard or you’d like to give them out like traditional classroom valentines.
To snag this for yourself, just click HERE. Download the PDF and send it off to your favourite print shop to print on the heaviest cardstock you can find for post card feel. Write a little note on the back, give it a stamp and pop it in the mail. See how easy it is to brighten someone’s day in these dark winter months?
Tell me… are you a lover of snail mail? Do you give out valentine’s?

These are stunning! Thank you Thank you! I’ve been trying to send out cards on special days for everyone, so this is just one extra little reminder that I’m thinking of them! :)

I just made some cards using what I just learned in brush lettering. These will be a great addition!
