The month is *almost* over and Halloween is *almost* here! This week in my e-mail list I sent a collection of the Halloween posts I’ve shared over the last few years and thought I would share it over here as well. If you’re not on my e-mail list… you should totally get on it ;) Not only do I send out collections around the holidays but monthly freebies, rad discounts, and always always heads up on giveaways.
So here’s 18 Halloween DIY, decor and printables that I’ve created for you guys! There’s even a couple you won’t find in my archives because I’ve shared them around the web. I’m in love with *almost* all of them still… can you guess which? Haha! If you follow along on Facebook, you’ll know I’m really not a glitter fan. I’m not sure what I was thinking with those mini pumpkins. They are really cute but I had glitter on my face for days, I’m sure and that is enough that they won’t be made in this house again. But I know there’s glitter lovers out there ;)
Left to right, top to bottom:
ONE: Have you spotted these little boo pumpkins at your grocery store? Grab a bag and whip up these adorable Gold Leaf Mini Jack-o-Lanterns… and NOPE, no messy gold leaf required.
TWO: This Spooky Fridge Surprise is one of my fave Halloween traditions! Which shows how wild we are around here ;) I like to get it together a few days before Halloween so the kids can get a kick out of it. Bringing ketchup with eyes to the table is just SO much more fun than regular ketchup.
THREE: We’re still in the hotdogs as mummies for halloween dinner stage… but one day we’ll have friend parties again while the kids head out trick or treating. And when we do, I’ll be pulling out these Bugs in Jars Halloween Place Settings!
FOUR: This printable took me forever to make a few years ago… because I had NO skills in design software. Amazing what a couple years of practice can do ;) Grab this ever adorable geometric ghost Boo! Printable to add some instant halloween spook!
FIVE: These Simple Spooky Balloons are definitely my kids’ fave halloween decoration we did last year. They’ve already requested them again. The best part?? They really are simple to whip up.
SIX: Because one can never have too many printables… a very Spooktacular Printable!
SEVEN: Ahh the days we had halloween parties ;) These Candy Corn Coasters have headed to my sister’s this year because she has one planned. They’re the perfect way to dress up a Halloween buffet table too!
EIGHT: And when we have our adult Halloween party… I’ll probably make up this Classy Halloween Centrepiece to go along with those place settings. Gold and black spiderweb vase complete with black and white themed florals and spider guests. Yes please!
NINE: Printables are so rad for holidays because they take no time at all to print out and switch up. Grab this Ghostly Printable & then take a peek at the Lettering Technique if you’d like to make some art of your own!
TEN: Giving out party favours? These Creepy Crawly Spiders Treat Boxes are always a hit!
ELEVEN: And if you happen to be having a fancy pants party… Why not whip up a classy little Copper Foiled Invitation?
TWELVE: Here’s one from this year. This Giant Halloween Garland is SO much fun and such an easy backdrop to pull together in a pinch for Halloween. I get so much use out of these tissue party balls, you guys. You can use them for every darn occasion!
THIRTEEN: I’m a happy mail fan. If I could remember to send snail mail for every occasion… I would. So if you’re one of those unicorns that remembers… here’s a free Happy Halloween Card!
FOURTEEN: This is the first ever DIY I ever shared on Lemon Thistle! AND it’s the one and only picture I shared of our apartment other than when I shared that we were moving. The best part about this DIY Giant Spider Decor? It costs $2 if you have NOTHING. Score ;)
FIFTEEN: Planning to stay in this Halloween? Why not have a friendly wager on the costumes you’ll see come to the door? Just print out this Halloween Bingo and write in your picks! My picks this year? You know we’ll be seeing Moana and maybe a million unicorns.
SIXTEEN: I’m such a fan of bunting for each and every occasion. I just love how this Copper Foiled Halloween Garland turned out. After this year, I think my halloween decor will always be copper and black instead of orange and black!
SEVENTEEN: Ahhh those glitter pumpkins! They’re actually SO darn cute. So if you like glitter and don’t mind crafting with it (I hear you are out there, you glitter crafters!), These Ombre Glitter Pumpkins are perfect for you!
EIGHTEEN: This is one we pull out every year- It’s so simple to make with a cutout and I’ve even got the trick or treat lettering template for this Black Cat Chalkboard for ya!
I hope you found some inspiration! Happy Haunting!
