5 Free printable quotes for kids all about learning for your child’s desk in 3 different color options.
Doing homework after a summer off can remind us how difficult it is to focus and to stick with an activity for a longer duration. I mean… I’m even finding it more difficult to concentrate when there’s sunshine outside and I could be playing in it. So as a little bit of encouragement as we jump back into sitting still and homework, I made these 5 free printable quotes for kids all about learning for you to print off or have made into home decor as an encouragement for your kiddo. I hand lettered these quotes and created 3 different options for colors for you to download.
I’m so excited to partner with Walmart Photo for this post. I’ve used their same day products to get the quotes printed for our kids’ workspaces. I tried both the canvas prints and the mounted photos and love how they turn these printables into art that will last all school year… and for years to come!
The 5 free printable quotes for kids that I included in this pack are:
- Every accomplishment starts with the decision to try
- Mistakes are proof you are trying
- Practice makes better
- Today is a great day to learn something new
- You can do hard things
I read my kids the quotes and let them pick a favorite. Aubrey spotted the giant pink speech bubble and I don’t think it matters what it said, she wanted that one. I wanted to try printing this one as a square so got it on this 12×12 faux canvas. It turned out so well!
I got the ‘You Can Do Hard Things’ one printed as a bonus, I might move that one down to my desk. The 11×14 ‘every accomplishment starts with the decision to try’ on the boys’ room shelf is a canvas print. I really love how these pieces look on canvas- and this one in black and white might be my favorite.
The smaller prints are mounted photos. These are so cute and little and they can stand on their own so they were pretty much made for desk decor. I feel like these little guys would even make a good teacher gift… the ‘You can do hard things’ is more applicable for teachers now than ever! And the last one I printed? Of all the ‘today is a great day to learn something new’ options, this colorway is my favorite with the teal and the orange stars!
Alright, if you want to download them and print them yourselves- these free printable quotes for kids are available in PDF or JPG for personal use only (print for yourself or for gifting, not for resale or republishing). PDF is great for home printing, while JPG is what you’ll need if you’re going to get them printed on canvas or mounted photo at Walmart Photo like I did in this post. I added a white border to the JPG versions to allow for the wrap edges of canvas.
To download them, just click the linked file type that you would like and it will open a .zip file with the printables. Double click that zip file to ‘unzip’ and you’re good to print them!
If you do end up using these printables, I’d so love to see! You can tag me @colleenpastoor on social media!
