I’m just popping in with a quick printable for you today. Tonight we’re having some friends over for an early Easter dinner and I’ve yet to decide what we’re doing to set the table, yet to clean the house, and yet to thaw the ham. I know, rookie moves! But the one thing that I do have planned for tonight is this: Easter egg conversation starters! So I snapped a few photos of them and thought I’d offer up the printable for you all in case you have an early Easter dinner you’re playing last minute on too!
So I totally spray painted my Easter eggs a nice ‘seaside’ blue because I couldn’t find a colour of eggs that I liked. But I forgot that now that we have a bigger dining table- most of my table cloths don’t fit… except for my blue one. So tonight might be an all-blue-Easter. We’ll see if I can find an alternative ;) If you can find plastic Easter eggs that aren’t neon colours- or if you like the neon colours, just go with those and save yourself this step.
Next, download and print the conversation starters. These should be suitable for family or friends. There is a back side of the document (the dotty/swirl pattern, so if you can print double sided- do that! I printed them on a nice thick cardstock, but regular old paper would work as well.
Next, cut them out and roll them up inside your Easter eggs. You could put them in a vase or bowl to pass around for everyone to grab or you could have one at each place setting (bonus points if you write guests names on them!). I’m planning to just have the person who opens the egg answer the question, but you could also go around the table and see everyone’s answer to each question if you like.
That’s it! Now excuse me while I go get to a weekend’s worth of dishes before my guests arrive ;) #noshame If I pull together a pretty table for tonight- I’ll be sure to share it with you all on Wednesday!
