It’s a well established truth that Etsy is king when it comes to finding handmade goods, but did you know you can register for gifts there? Neither did I! Right now they are only available for weddings, but there are so many wonderful things on Etsy for other occasions, I’m hoping they open the registries to all events (like, now).
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: We are incredibly blessed by family who loves to celebrate, and my sister-in-laws are in the midst of planning us a baby shower (extravaganza, I’m sure) for next Tuesday. They asked for gift ideas, but with the stores we have around here (that feature baby registries), there’s not much in the way of cute, decorate the baby nursery, type stuff. We were talking about all the wonderful things on Etsy I wanted to order for the nursery and they convinced me to ‘cheat the system’ as it were and create a wedding registry for baby stuff on Etsy. Check it out here if you like. SO very taboo, I know.
But seriously, look at the awesome stuff I’ve got my eye on! I’m smitten with this cloud and stars mobile, I love the molded shape of the cloud.

Who doesn’t love handmade wooden toys? And that felt bow hair clip… it melts me.

Etsy is getting awful Pinteresty, and I like it. I made a nursery collection here before narrowing my real wants into the registry.
