Every year, I try to get ahead on my holiday gift shopping and while I’m at it, I like to round up some of MY favourite finds and put them into holiday gift guides for you! Today I’m sharing the two that I pulled together with finds from Etsy. That means that these are all made by makers which is amaaazing. So if you have anyone on your list that loves something truly unique- this holiday gift guide is perfect for you! I have a guide for the home decor lover and a general ‘for her’ gift guide as well. I’m not going to lie… I want ALL of these things. So if you happen to be shopping for me… ;)
Alright, ready for the first guide? Scroll way down to find the second :)
LEFT TO RIGHT, TOP TO BOTTOM:
ONE: I have a thing for garlands. And already have a wooden bead garland BUT love how perfect for a gallery wall this wood bead drop garland with tassel is. Just hang it in there with photos and signs and you have an instantly more interesting gallery wall.
TWO: You know what room I haven’t filled to the brim with decor? Our laundry room. This sign is a bit vintage, a bit modern, and a lot lovely.
THREE: Candles and throw pillows are the two things I think a home can never have too many of. My husband might disagree on the pillows, though. These hand poured candles have such great minimal labels and good packaging always will have my heart. This scent would be perfect for the winter season.
FOUR: I’ve been searching locally for a script lettered door mat that I love and reaaaaally haven’t found anything. And most of the time- online, the price is outrageous. This welcome coir doormat checks all the boxes though!
FIVE: Okay, so I tried to keep this gift guide local to either Canada or US BUT this ceramic vase is from Israel and was too beautiful not to include. I tried looking for an alternative I loved as much… but this one is kind of perfection, you guys.
SIX: Weaving is one of those things I haven’t tried to DIY yet. I am just in awe of how textural and organic this little guy is. I’d mix it in with some frames on a gallery wall for some interest. Or over a nightstand.
SEVEN: Another non-local pick… these turkish towels! I love this style and it’s actually what we picked up for our recent bathroom makeover. I love the idea of ordering them directly from a maker though. And this combo of greys? Perfect!
EIGHT: I’m such a sucker for a gorgeous cutting board. These walnut beauties would earn a permanent spot out on the counter or open shelving. I couldn’t hide it away in the cupboard. So is it decor or serveware? Both.
NINE: I am in love with this buffalo sign! I’m a fan of all signs, clearly… but this buffalo? He’s kind of perfect. Even though we have 1 million signs in our home, I’d have to find a place for him.
TEN: A rope basket that was actually MADE for plants? Perfect! I love the little loop handle on this guy and the dipped look of that light gray rope at the bottom. Plus- who wouldn’t take an excuse to buy another plant?
ELEVEN: I am always eying new cloth napkins. There’s something so luxe about having cloth napkins to use… but these block print looking guys are playful too. The perfect combination.
TWELVE: Who doesn’t love a letterboard? I DO! This is the one I have and love that they are a Canadian company.
THIRTEEN: Anyone recognize this? Yep! It’s one of my new throw pillow covers and I just couldn’t NOT include it. Hand lettered and velveteen soft.
Have you forgotten who you’re buying for yet? Busy shopping for yourself? Me too. Now a gift for your sister, best friend, girl friend, or mama! Here’s my holiday gift guide picks that are not home decor… gifts for her!
LEFT TO RIGHT, TOP TO BOTTOM:
ONE: I’m starting this one off with a total winner. I’ve actually already emailed her and have found out about getting a mothers ring made once this babe is born. I’m in LOVE with these organic looking crystal rings. They’re perfection. You can get a birthstone one for your lady or the mama ring… or just a pretty one for no reason. They’re all SO darn good.
TWO: I’ve been toying with the idea of making my own laptop skin… but I’m not sure anything I make would be as beautiful as this botanical laptop cover. It’s so gorgeous!
THREE: I have a similar pin that is NOT artisan made and I’ve almost worn it out- it’s in such regular rotation. I love the handmade look of this one and know that being handmade would be much higher quality than the guy I have. I’m pretty sure every girl needs one.
FOUR: Have you been seeing ring cones ALL over the place too? I’m loving the idea, but until finding this geometric black and gold beauty, I never really had one on my wishlist.
FIVE: I’ve come to love baths so much more since having kids and this rose milk bath is probably the most beautiful looking soak I’ve seen. It would make a perfect gift. And since pulling together this gift guide, I totally snagged myself one from the same brand that’s eucalyptus scented. SCORE.
SIX: It’s getting hot in here! I am in LOVE with this clear glass mug from my new hand lettered collection… so you know I ha to include it in the guide! I’m sure you have a hottie on your list, right? ;)
SEVEN: I know that this is meant for credit cards- but how about business cards? I’m constantly ruining the ones I toss in my purse because I don’t have a proper holder for them. Plus- how stylish is this rose gold leather number? They make them in a ton of colours- but rose gold is definitely my pick.
EIGHT: This boho looking clutch is not only beautiful, but it’s made by a blogger I’ve met a couple times and LOVE her style. So you can’t lose with it, really.
NINE: I’ve had little heart shaped stud earrings on my wishlist for a few years- I just never seem to find the *perfect* ones… but these ones are perfect, I’m sure. Rose gold heart studs? Count me in!
TEN: I wouldn’t have put a keychain on a gift guide if it wasn’t truly amazing. I didn’t even know I loved keychains until I saw this. It’s retro, wooden, and quoting a classic. Love it.

Um i love that buffalo print! I’ve been searching for something winter-y for the open shelving in my kitchen and he’s a serious contender now…
