Have I mentioned I love sending (and receiving!) mail? There’s something so special about opening a letter, card, or gift that shows up in your mail. It’s a beautiful reminder that even though people may not be in your life daily, they took the time to think of you and made an effort to brighten your day. There’s the typical occasions you can send mail for… birthdays and Christmas. There’s the not so big-deal holidays you can send mail for… Valentines Day and St. Patty’s. And then there’s times like these that in themselves are not holidays or occasions but an opportunity to recognize someone and what’s going on in their life.
* Pencils
* Erasers
* Stickers
* Mini Notebook
* Pixie Sticks (my go-to mailable treat)
The only thing missing was a card or some sort of stationary. It is a sore spot with me that we have NO stationary stores in town… and Carlton Cards gets old. These free printable goodies from Creature Comforts (one of my favourite daily reads) not only fit the bill but are downright adorable. I’ve been holding onto this file for a while, waiting for the perfect occasion. Hop on over and get them yourself!
Do you send snail mail? What do you think makes giving/receiving mail so special?
