Is anyone else already thinking Christmas gifts? With baby set to arrive around Christmas, I feel like fall is going to fly by and I’m not feeling at all prepared. So I’ve been starting to think about gifting and am loving the idea of DIY tea towels wrapped up with a baked good for Christmas gifts. Fun, right? So I set out to gathering some rad tutorials to get my creative juices flowing.
Left to Right/ Top to Bottom
ONE: More dying! But naturally. These tea stained tea towels (say that five times fast!) are so natural and lovely.
TWO: Bold and awesome, these hand stamped and painted tea towels make a fun monochromatic statement… I’m thinking they’d be the perfect way to bring some fun into a dorm room kitchen! The instructions aren’t in english, but the photos are pretty self explanatory.
THREE: Are you a fan of neon like me? I really need to add some more of it to my house, because I have… well, zero. These retro look tea towels from Brit + Co are so much fun with their neon stitching!
FOUR: I made this bunny rabbit tea towel with a pom pom tail for The Land of Nod blog at Easter but it’s still in rotation at our house (easter or not!) I love the pom pom detail.
FIVE: These hand sewn tea towels look so luxe! Two layers of gorgeous fabric… sign me up! Talk about a quality DIY. I especially love the neutral but fashionable fabric they chose.
SIX: How stinkin’ fun is a word search tea towel!? This one is all customized for a wedding gift, but you could put family members names in for a fun surprise!
SEVEN: These guys just look so classic! I know there’s one or two people I can think of that love farmhouse decor and would be happy to see these hand painted tea towels in their stockings this year!
EIGHT: Last but not least, I had to finish it up with one of my own- this DIY dip and drip dye tea towel I made a few weeks back is still a favourite of mine! I can see more of these in my future.
So dish, what’s your favourite? I’m kind of in love with those hand sewn ones… they just look so thick and luxe, I can’t get enough. But also.. word search? Heck yes.

I’ll vote for No. 1. Especially those colors. Something that pops in their simplicity.

I love those ones too! The idea of dying with tea bags is so clever, I have a cupboard full of misc tea bags that could be put to good use.
Shambray
I love all of them, but number 2 is screaming my name!

Aren’t those ones fun! I would love to try those in a bright color… maybe emerald!
