2 Minute DIY Man Candles & Free Printables

You were all so sweet about my Fathers’ Day Cards last week, I couldn’t help but create another free printable for the men in your life. Last year two awesome blogs that I read (Almost Makes Perfect and House of Hipsters) came out with free printable candle labels to dress up cheap candles. I loved them and since then have been dreaming up reasons to make my own. Meet the Man Candle! It’s really just a regular candle (because I don’t think any wife would want a hamburger smelling candle) but with a manly label. They’re a cinch to put together and would make an awesome Fathers Day gift!

Here’s what you’ll need to make your own:

• Frugal candles in glass containers
• Free printable, printed on adhesive paper
• Craft Knife

Print off the labels on a sheet of sticky back paper. I just use the Avery labels, but any would work. There are 8 labels on a sheet (4 different designs). Cut them out using a craft knife and stick them on to your candles… that’s it! You may need to remove some ugly labels from your candles first. I use Goo Gone, but vinegar works as well.

My hubby has called the one with frosted glass, and I’ve insisted we’re keeping the ‘scent of a man’ one (because it’s really just the scent of awesome). The rest I’ll be giving as gifts… although I’m considering keeping a couple more because they smell so. darn. good. Would any of the men in your life get a kick out of these?
