Today I’m bringing you a super quick (like 2 minutes might be an exaggeration) DIY to get your home ready for Valentine’s Day… or really any day of the year that could use some kissy artwork. This kisses wall art was fun to create and would be fun to even make note cards using the same technique (hello valentine’s snailmail!). I’m sure you can guess how I went about making this baby, but if you want the whole rundown… read on!
Here’s what you’ll need to make your own kisses wall art:
- Quality card stock or art paper
- Lipstick in various shades
- Matted frame
- Your lips
Ready for the step by step? 1. Put lipstick on 2. Kiss the paper. Seriously! Are you rolling your eyes at me? It’s dead easy, but the outcome is super fun.
I can picture this being really cute year round in a girly apartment… not just for Valentine’s Day. Tell me- would you give it a go or would you feel to awkward kissing paper for the sake of decoration? Also… isn’t my new plant gorgeous? I snagged that pot for FREE on a bidding site (kind of like a Facebook version of Craigslist) and the plant was $3… I’m pretty excited about it. Fingers crossed I can keep it alive!

Very cute. Where did you get the silver “&” .

Thanks Debbie! It’s actually brass and it’s from Indigo: https://www.chapters.indigo.ca/en-ca/house-and-home/gifts/ampersand-brass-object/882709253273-item.html?ikwid=ampersand&ikwsec=Home&ikwidx=3
