I’ve professed my love for garlands before… I really, really love them. Bunting, garland, banners, I can’t get enough. I want them at every party, in every room of my house, and new ones for every occasion. Crazy? Maybe, but there’s no harm in a little merry in your every day life. Here’s 10 DIY Garlands for you to try, left to right/top to bottom.
ONE: One of my favourite buntings I’ve ever created: DIY Copper Pipe Bunting. Serious copper pipe from the hardware store, serious home decor.
TWO: This geometric garland from Design Love Fest has been on my Parties pinboard for.ever. I’m in love with it. I used this idea for assembly to create the garland for my vintage story book shower.
THREE: This giant fringe garland was my second ever contributor post for Pretty Providence. It looked fabulous at a fiesta, but change the colours up and it could match almost any decor!
FOUR: A Subtle Revelry has long been one of my favourite party blogs out there. She’s so creative with simple supplies. This tissue paper flower garland is just one of the reasons I love her.
FIVE: Another serious home decor garland I still adore is this DIY Driftwood Garland. It would look so great in a coastal home! But I rock it in my navy bedroom.
SIX: This paper net garland from Oh Happy Day is so neat! I love the look, and it looks a little like a math problem to me. I’d love to give it a try just to see if I can master it!
SEVEN: This metallic mini honeycomb garland I created for The Land of Nod blog is sturdy enough to hang out as every day decor as well! And bonus points- since it’s metallics, it’ll match pretty much anything.
EIGHT: I created this morse code garland for Ciera Design Blog and even though it’s been up for a couple months in our kiddos room, I still like to point out to everyone that it holds a secret message. #nerdalert
NINE: The most ginormous garland I’ve ever created? This baby from our Saint Patrick’s Day Party (which, by the way, is my favourite party ever). Plus, I made my first ever GIF showing how to make this giant honeycomb garland.
TEN: Because I can’t turn down anything marbled, I had to include this DIY Marbled Banner from Sarah at Confetti Sunshine.
SO! What’s your favourite DIY Garland? Are you as crazy for garlands as I am (doubtful, but let’s have it)?! Today I’m really crushing on that tissue paper flower garland.
